Safety is QuasarGeo's First Priority

QMax EM3

The QMax EM3 is designed to maximize shipboard safety for QuasarGeo’s customers:

  • Deployment/recovery without arms results in reduced risk for personnel
  • Automated deployment and recovery (possible without arms) would further reduce risk for marine crew
  • Lighter receiver/anchor load combinations reduces risk to personnel and equipment
  • Load bearing parts are stress tested to approximately 10 G-Forces
  • QuasarGeo pressure vessels contain over-pressure valves
  • Electrical system meets UL safety standards

Production

Facilities are compliant with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and safety procedures are derived from International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines. Comprehensive procedures are in place to prevent manufacturing and other accidents in QuasarGeo workspaces. QuasarGeo’s experienced supervisory staff has put into place a complete safety program with extensive training, standard signage, and a policy allowing any staff member to call for a work stoppage if a safety issue is identified.
